On Saturday 11th and Sunday 26th of November the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in English at the church of St Barnabas. On Saturday 11th, the Eucharistic assembly was followed by fellowship in the hall, consisting of a talk and fruitful discussion on the lives and examples of Saints John Chrysostom and Nektarios of Pentapolis. Both the Liturgy and talk were well attended. On Sunday the 26th the Divine Liturgy was celebrated by the Vicar General of the Archdiocese, Protopresbyter Konstantinos Garivaldinos, who also preached on the day’s Gospel passage: “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” (Lk. 18:18-27) Our next Divine Liturgies in English, for the month of December, will take place on Saturday the 9th at St Mary’s Cathedral (with the participation of our school of St Barnabas) followed by a talk on the Incarnation of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, as well as on Sunday 31st at 11:15 at St Barnabas.
